Aftermath of Tragedy: what happened is that the family got separated, the house got burned down and Peter ran away from his home to help his family.

Family: they got separated, he went to the police station, his brother is in an unknown place and hos parents are in a camp.

Cruelty of War: the cruelty was in there by making them get separated and night never see each other again.
